Can people open and close windows in their sleep?

Because this used to happen to me a lot. I'd go to sleep with a window open or closed and wake up in the morning with it closed or open. I always used to think it was my parents but I opened the window for the first time since I moved out and started living in my own flat and I woke up this morning to find it closed. I figured the wind could have blown in closed but in opens inwards and from the top so I can really see it happening. Am I sleep closing my window if I get too cold? Can people do stuff like that in their sleep?

Of course! I sleep walked over to my neighbours once, that involves unlocking doors, climbing fences etc so you can definitely open and close windows!

Also, you might not be like, sleepwalking kind of thing, you may just get hot so wake up and open the window, but not remember doing it.

You're probably in a waking state when you do this, but just barely. If you do it and then go immediately back to full sleep, chances are good you won't remember it in the morning.

If you're concerned about it, or think that you're sleep-walking, it's time to get to a doctor to be treated so that you don't endanger yourself.

I forget things I have done while drowsy. I have had conversations and not remembered them the next day. Its not uncommon

Start freaking if the DOWNSTAIRS windows open and close.

When I was a kid, I used to "sleep run" through the house.

I am sure it is possible.
