Hi!

Yep!!!

Even before I saw the rest of your question, I thought 'my dogs'!!

There really is nothing else to say, is there??!!!

My two are sat here next to me, they've both got as close to me as they possible can! One of them is snoring and the other is have a really good dream coz he is twitching like mad!!

My iPod is the most favourite thing I own, it's definitely 100% the best thing I've ever bought. I absolutely love listening to music, it transports me to another world, evoking a wide array of thoughts and feelings and ideas. There's nothing at all that comes close to the power of music.

Of course I still have physical CDs, but I don't like *every* track on them. On my iPod I can put all my favourites on, I can find each song quickly - I don't have to change the CD in the stereo, and of course, it's PORTABLE! I can take it everywhere - car journeys, walking around town, lying in bed etc.

And yes, I do love my dog...but I wouldn't consider him as 'property'. He's been with us since I was 6 (I'm 17 now), so he feels like a member of the family.

I'm not allowed pets in my place, but my parents' dog is ace!

Personally my best possesions are the scrap parts from the Jaguar aircraft (see avatar) I have in my window. They remind me of the best time of my life working on these fantastic machines. I made so many close friends and had the most unforgettable experiences. (I was forced to move due to the phasing out of the aircraft) Everytime I look at these parts, I think back to the good times I had a few years ago. Almost all of them great memories!

After the obvious stuff, my bass guitar and amp is my fave thing. Simply cause I am self taught and getting better every time I practice. I gain great satisfaction knowing that I can make music and play what I want to hear.

It has also had an effect on my life generally. I am more confident and happier with myself, and have gained a bigger social circle of musicians and music lovers who appreciate my skills. I also aim to participate in gigs and bands.

My COMPUTER, is among my most favourite possessions, - because it keeps me in TOUCH, with the REST of the outside World!

I am NOT any sort of a PRISONER, either! The FACT is, though, that I may JUST as WELL, BE! Being physically DISABLED, I don't find it EASY, in ANY way, to get AROUND, - but, at LEAST, I can stay in TOUCH, with my many Web friends!

And, I would HATE to lose the 10 x 8 PHOTOGRAPH, of my FATHER, - who DIED some years ago! I'd be SHATTERED, if anything happened, to take THAT away, from me!

Yes, def my dogs for me as I breed Hungarian Vizslas and the mother is the best thing in my life (they all are actually - have both parents and a collie) but she deserves a medal a big as a dustbin lid to go through what she does then carries on with life as normal. What a star.

I love dogs too, they have a big and positive effect . I think that they are better than cats! But i like books too,a lot. I think that my dogs like to listen to me rading and i think that they understand what i read. When i was reading to them "Bridge to Terabithia",they had such funny and smart faces,as if it was they who read!:-)

I'm not really attached to things. I am a space clearaholic, but if I had to pin it down then I'd have to say a silver bangle that I always wear, I bought it in Kathmandu, Nepal and it has Om Mani padmi hum in Nepalese inscribed on it. It reminds me of the people, the place and the experiences of travel. If I could I'd always travel.

My dog. Without question.

No matter how stressed out I get, watching him take so much pleasure from something as simple as a walk in the woods chills me out no end.

Finding new places to walk him means I've got to know parts of my local area that I never knew existed.

He can make me laugh.

What other "posession" could have that effect?

I'm not sure we really own anything. Well I suppose everything is on a sort of lone.

If your question is objects then I think the spoon that belonged to my Nan.

When I was a child It was always in the sugar bowl and I admired it because it was an interesting and special shape unlike any spoon I had ever seen. And when she died it came to me. I think that spoon is my memory connection with her and that's why it's so special.

Thanks for that question. x

Well I'm not saying "Own" but the most important thing is deffinatly my family.

They have put me here, supported me and if it wasn't for them I probably wouldn't be here answering this question.

All my experiences has come from my parents. I met a really special person on holiday, I didn't want to go to that place but my dad wanted to because he was born there and hadn't been there since he was 10 when he left. Thanks to my dad, I've met a friend for life and learnt a lot from that experience.

Jet aside - he's my 14 year old cat, obviously, if the house was on fire, he'd be the first thing I picked up and when the house was burgled, he was the first thing I looked for.

Aside from Jet, I suppose my most prized posessions would be Orry and Unk.

Orry - short for Orinoko - a stuffed panda. Why I called a panda after a womble is beyond me but I got him when the wombles - the pop group - were very popular and I liked them; still do, I never liked the TV programme though - strange. He was a Christmas present from my brother when I was about nine or ten years old.

Unk - short for Great Uncle Bulgaria - a .... womble!! YAY! He has an orange snout and I got him because I went in a paddy when my big sister got a grey womble off our neighbour. Daddy was packed off to the town with instructions to get the brat ... sorry .... bairn a womble of her own. I was about seven or eight.

Neither of them look their age, they're in great condition. Unk's too big to go in a case but Orry has been all over the country with me. I wash them once every three or four years, basically, when they look grubby, but since they don't get cuddled much these days and I don't have children who would want to play with them; they don't get grubby.

An unusual gold bracelet, which was with me from the time I was born. The bracelet seem to be from a by-gone age . It is broken in two, but I will never carry it for repairs, for I fear that it may be recognised as a valuable gold bracelet, and it might be stolen , or replaced by a fraudulent one.

I have just completed a set of opal jewellry, it is my birth stone, and I love them to bits. We have spent years going all over Scotland looking for the right pieces that match in shape and colour. It has meant that we have seen the beautiful scenery on our searches, but the last part evaded us. A bracelet. My husband had one made for me for my Christmas present, it was a lovely surprise. We will still go on our trips as we have come to love the countryside.

I've recently completed my work experience which involved working with adults with mental health problems and learning disabilities, so I would have to say being able-bodied and independent, and being able to do things for ourselves (something we all take for granted). Working with these people has been an emotional experience, especially when I have seen first hand how nasty some people can be to vulnerable people.

My car - convertible totally impractical fabulous fun.

Dishwasher - HATE washing up and it comes out SO clean!

Dog - I just love him

Bed - young baby - love to sleep when I can

Washing machine - cannot imagine life without it

However, after my beautiful baby nearly died I realised nothing is more precious than family and friends and I would give it all up in an instant to keep them safe and well.

My favourite thing in the world is my son's bib.

He died not long after he was born so it just shows me what I am capable of and what we can get through in life. Even though he is gone it is a ray of sunshine everytime I look at it and it reminds me there is perfection in a world full of a whole lotta crap.

Yeah, my dogs too. I have three - 2 Rottweilers and a Spaniel. They just make me feel so good all the time - when I watch them, play with them, even when they're naughty I can't help but love them. What's so nice is that they give so much love back to you and are always faithful, you always know where you stand with them. They're just great!!!!!!!! : )

My mum's book on padre pio and the guardian angels, she followed his memoirs with incredible belief while she battled cancer and even though she died in the end many of my family, including my husband who is not at all religious, experienced unexplainable things the week following her death. The book to me is not only a memory of her but I also feel it protects me. We all have angels watching over us and we should ask more often for thier help as they are so happy to help us, and if we have family or friends in trouble we can send our guardian angel to help thiers.

Therefore I would say that owning something is more materialistic and that would be my charm bracelet as I can collect the charms from fav places and my family buy them for me and thats what makes it special

Can't narrow it down to just one thing- my computer is my key to the world. I love my Cockatiels, I have four, the oldest will be 23 yrs. old this July. I love to read so my apt. has books in every room. I also love music, so there are cd's and tapes galore. Life-- most days, it's just good.

Happy Easter everyone- be blessed!
